I am extremely grateful that I have attracted some truly fine people to share my exciting journey on this planet with me… and we have just started a new decade that promises to be full of abundance, love and prosperity. You’re probably wondering…

The short story
I am a sixty something former corporate guy who made a sudden exit from the corporate jungle and city life to running my own home business from a Gulf Island on Canada’s west coast. I have worked from home for the past 11 years… the last 3 on the internet.
It’s true, I can work from wherever I want and set my own hours. I don’t have to answer to a boss, and, yes, I’m living my dream lifestyle in a beautiful home on one of Canada’s Gulf Islands.
But you can relax now… I’m not going to start telling you about all the trains, planes and automobiles that I own… that’s some other guy…. not me. I don’t have any trains. Or planes for that matter. And if I did, it wouldn’t be important for me to tell you about them. Unless you asked me, of course.
My family has always been in first place in my life and always will be. With that value as a priority, everything else seems to fall in line just fine for us.
I am truly blessed to have a wonderful soul mate, Nicolette. She is the mother of our two fine daughters, Deirdre and Noelle. Nicki is a passionate painter (watercolors), an avid gardener, my best friend, and a simply amazing woman. I love her dearly.
We live on Gabriola Island, just off Canada’s west coast for most of the year and travel to Ecuador where we enjoy new adventures each year.
More recent additions to the family are two young grand daughters … and last year… a Grandson! Imagine… I’m still a kid at heart and I have my very own Grand Kids. What a trip! And I love’em all. Keeps me thinking young. More about that on my Facebook pages.
The rules for generating income have changed drastically with the rapidly shifting economic climate. And the changes have prompted many of us to search for the answer to surviving and thriving in the any economic storm. We did find the answer and are living that experience right now.

My Professional Background
The formative years for me, in traditional business, were the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s. I was always sort of a free spirit and loved being my own boss… so I worked commission type positions that let me control my income based on product. Most of my work was in traditional business models (not Network Marketing) where my area of expertise was business development, team building and coaching behavioral shifts for increased results.
In the early 80′s, Nicki and I started our own company and we built a photography sales territory for a multi-national company. And with the help of an amazing team we developed one of the most profitable territories in Canada in that industry. Hard work and good fun.
In the mid 90’s we felt that the intensity and complexity of our work life was starting to take its toll on both of us… so we sold our interests in the business and shifted into a consulting management mode to slow down the pace just a little bit.
We spent the next ten years consulting in territory management and developing our property on Gabriola Island. As a consultant I was able to work from home on the island and life was just fine. But we knew there had to be more that just racking up the hours to get a paycheck every month. So we went looking for the ideal income stream that would offer us a little more freedom.
Changing Business Models and Focus
Our foray into network marketing began just over 5 years ago. We joined a traditional MLM with big dreams of making serious money and creating residual income. And it was for all the right reasons: No commute, more family time, no boss or office politics, reduced hours and mailbox money leveraged from other peoples efforts.
Like many others (maybe even you), we did everything our upline taught us to do… from buying leads, to co-ops, to pitching friends and family. Then came the real thriller… dragging people to mind-numbing hotel meetings. And the beat goes on… you know the drill if you’ve been there done that… right? How exciting can it get? And some pain too!
The Problems We Found
Yes, we made some money for a while but just couldn’t seem to get traction with duplication in our team. And we grew tired of the process. We just weren’t prepared to deal with the tedious methods of chasing leads anymore. Not much fun in that and fun is high on my happiness scale.
I guess the good thing was that we had learned enough about marketing to know that we were not going to be able to use the outdated methods of network marketing that made a small handful of people very wealthy 25 years ago, and expect similar results today.
Tired of struggling to make things work we went on line to search for a solution. By now the internet had exploded to over a billion users and it seemed to us this was the place to find some answers to creating residual income.
After wading though tons of hype and nonsense online we jumped in to a program and again made some money but couldn’t quite seem to get things to click for us. Learned some hard lessons and gained some expensive education… made a little more money but the results just were not there.
Over a period of about 3 years we had churned through tens of thousands of dollars and tried several different systems and opportunities. Nothing seemed to gel for us. We continued our search on the internet. There had to be something that was real. Right?
The Shift To Success in this New Economy
Finally, frustrated at making peanuts for a few years, we came across a system with real education and real millionaire mentors, total transparency and authentic leaders. What a treat! We are now part of a progressive team that is teaching the principles of “Attraction Marketing” and how to make HUGE profits online and offline while having fun.
I guess we knew all along that the solution would be to connect with the right people, community and system to leverage the internet for wealth creation. We did that and now can help you do the same, without all the frustrations in the process.
